Can someone tell em about Playa Blanca Panama? How to get there? Good places to stay?

Hi!It is usually a package deal and there is a fee to get the shuttle to Playa Blanca. This is about a 2 hour trip from the international airport in PC.
We liked the all-inclusive resort. It was on the beach, everything close together--unlike the Decameron down the road.
The buildings had elevators, food was very good, and they served wine out of the bottle.

Is this more of a place to go and stay with friends or family? I have one daughter who is 4 and my husband and I who both are 27 and want to take a nice family vacation, so would you recommended going here or is it more of a place to visit with friends?

Emily, We visited Playa Blanca with my family and we all enjoyed it. We have two kids and we found plenty of family friendly activities on our trip.

Playa Blanca is just about the best you can get in Panama... Snow white sand and transparent, blue water. Great fishing! Just rent a boat and away you go!As has been suggested, a package deal you can buy from a travel agency is the best bet. You can´t go wrong.
Good luck and enjoy!

I would imagine that all over Panama one should be able to find some pretty great places to stay, much less for good ones.

Panama is a joyous place, without a doubt. I have a cousin from New York who has a friend living in Miami who is from Panama. She simply said to him that words cannot describe her lovely country.

Panama is beautiful and if you are going to panama I suggest not to only visit there. You should make it a visit to the entire county it isn't that big but there is a lot to see. Playa Blanca is a big tourist destination so finding it isn't going to be hard.

How can I take the Playa Blanca Shuttle from the airport to the resort as I am staying in the condos. How much is the fee? What are the hours that it runs? Thanks
