| Where to buy investment rental properties in Panama? Hi, I was wondering if anybody had feedback or in-depth knowledge on which areas to look in for investment rental properties. We are foreign investors as we don't live in Panama. We are looking to invest in a property that we would have no problem renting out. Any advice? Sincerely, jomlette |
| If you are looking at investment rentals I would make sure that if you are considering a condo, make sure it is already built. Panama has a lot of projects going on, but due to the economic situation through out the world, building has slowed way down because they are just not selling as fast as they were. So some people have been waiting a couple of years and their project is not even started yet. The areas I would consider is Coronado, Gorgona, Punta Barco, Playa Blanca and of course I saved the best for last, Boquete. Montanas de Caldera if a beautiful project that we just purchased in and they are doing condo's as well. It is probably the most desired by Americans and Uk and Canada. A lot of investment property is being bought. One of the reasons I like Boquete is you will get alot more rent per month on homes in that area compared to the other areas. I would send Jane Davis of Montanas an email asking for info. on project. Tell her that Mike and Darlene recommended them as she has a lot of correspondence coming through. They have info on their website as well, but if you email her, she will send out a packet of info. Hope this helps, let me know if I can be of further assistance.
