Are there "tenant rights" laws established in Panama. More to point, if a owner wished to sell a home that is occupied by a tenant w/ a signed lease, is the sale subject to the lease. Would the new owner have a right to vacate the lease. Assume a new tenant has a one year lease w/ no early termination clause by the owner, will the lease survive transfer of ownership of the property.Just looking for some input Thanks Robert |

| Yes, that's true. If you're planning to buy a real estate from other countries, you should be familiar with their Property Laws. It is also important to contact trusted local lawyers so that you will be able to know the specific rules of the land. In these ways, it is easier for you to transact and accomplish the necessary documentation to get the ownership of the land. Panama is one of the countries which allow foreigner ownership of their land. But you need to follow certain rules in order to make your transaction run smoothly. |
