'to manipulate and control' Politics

Panama has a long history of certain business, as well as other things, that may surely lead to all sorts of avenues of thought. My main goal is to show that politics has and forever will be a simple method that is being used by governments to manipulate and to control us all. As far as the current direction in politics in Panama is concerned at the moment, I am unaware.

There will always be gov't. Think of what happens when even a small group of families gathers to form a village. Regardless of how small, pretty soon a group will form up, and voila, the seed of a gov't is formed. Then, people being what they are, controls set in, etc. I hear the gov't in Panama is corrupt. Well, what a revelation that is! And is there a gov't on the face of the earth that isn't? As you can see, I'm from the U.S. We don't have corruption, right? Right, we call it corporate lobbying and "earmark" (aka porkbarrel) spending. Same result - but a rose is a rose ...

For what it's worth - 2 cents, I guess
