Did anybody hear about this terrible crash with U.S. Army reservist in Panama? Unfortunately, two of the soldiers died in the accident and a few others suffered injuries in the crash. Apparently, the crash was an unfortunate event. My heart really goes out to the families. Trackbacks

Yes, I heard about this accident and it's an unfortunate accident. I have families members in the military and shipped in different locations so I pay attention to the local and worldwide news. I will keep the families in my prayers.

Crime in the South American countries is an ongoing problem no matter where in South American you go. However, I would suggest that you stay totally away from places like Belize, Columbia and a couple others because the crime rate is very high and so is the corruption in government.Panama right now are trying their best to keep crime under control and keep their cities safe. One thing I would mention though is that the Panama Cis going to be shut down for a period of time in order to upgrade and add to it to make it a better more modern seaway. This will add to confusion there as there seems to be some animosity over this fact. The Suez Care trying everything in their power to take away the Panama Cbusiness now and in future when they are down. This may cause some instability in the businesses in Panama.

I just got back from 2 weeks in Colombia and the worst part of the trip was staying over night in Panama... and for my wife it was really bad as they made her sleep in the airport!Stay out of the mountains of Colombia and you should be ok... visit San Andres and not only will it be safe, but down right cheap. Go further south and you'll find some more great countries to visit that have less crime issues than the usa.

Wow this is terrible! No I didn't hear about this TBH! I will keep the families in my prayers ... ^ rowena105 from Hogstown, The Universe ... I hadn't heard about this ... how long is the construction supposed to be underway for? Upgrades are good, but hopefully it won't mess with the economy and the people living there!
