| Panama continues to thrive as a mineral-rich country and proof of it is this Canadian mining firm's latest venture, which is said to be the biggest private investment in Panama. A foreign company won't infuse $5 billion of money to fund a project in another country without assurance that this will be a successful venture. Just the same, the Panamanian government should carefully look into Minera Panama's environmental impact assessment before it gives the go signal for the company to proceed. |
| Being in Panama has been one of my goals and dreams. My fiance was living in there and I would also want to get in there and live in there with her. Right now I am dealing with my stuffs and finding out more about the life in the said country. I do hope to get along well with the locals in there. Wish me luck guys. Good day to all. |
| Mining is not always a wrong thing as long as it is done in a legal way, without destroying the natural resources much. I think the Panamanian government should carefully check whether the plan of The Canadian-owned Minera Panama S.A. should be permitted or not for starting mining in the middle of the forest. They should make sure that it won't harm the lives of people and the environment drastically. |
| I do hope for the success of the mining project in Panama. The country is rich in mineral resources that can be the source of livelihood for the people. However, I hope that they will take into consideration the effect of their actions to the local community and the environment. The government should set limitation and restriction to all the projects that they approve. This is important to secure the safety of the people and nature. |
| Hi there! We all know that there has been so many incidents concerning mining in different places. I just hope that miners in Panama will be very careful so that nothing bad will happen to them. I also hope that mining companies should prioritize the welfare of their miners. They should train ad provide them precautionary measures.
