| Article: Finding A Job In Panama for Foreigners Finding a job in a Panamanian company is relatively easy, especially if you have an American degree to show. However, finding a job that pays well is another matter, because wages here are significantly lower. That is the reason why most expats prefer to set up a business instead, assuming there's a global client base for their businesses.Read the complete article here: |

| It is nice to know some basic information about getting a job in Panama most especially for foreigners who are aspiring to get a job in there. Well there seems to have good job opportunities in Panama and that is something that foreigners look forward. I presume if you have good work experience or background, you will also be compensated well in that matter. Thank you for sharing the post. |
| Times are hard so it may not be enough even for people to live by having just one job. This is the reason why some people take 2 to 3 jobs to make their family survive the rising cost of living. Those who have an English degree will almost always never run out of work, whether they are in Panama or in any part of the world. They can choose to teach English to foreign countries and get paid well. |
Comment #610/14/11 15:34Puerto Armuelles: Beach Town | "Don't move to Panama if you NEED a job"
If you have no capital or cash flow I would strongly recommend you not move to Panama - or any place in Central America. The jobs you might get here - if you can find one - will not pay you much. This is especially true if you do not speak spanish well and you do not have a needed skill. It is very cheap to live here. But your income source must come from elsewhere, otherwise you will struggle. I do live here - and work. But my work/business is based in the US. I simply do all the work here in Panama. There are a number of businesses as well as jobs in the states that you can conduct here. Look into that option. That is a much better idea than trying to find a job or start a business down here.
