Rents and sale prices are high! for housing options there, but less than 5 minutes before you get to Coronado is another resort area called Playa Gorgona. There housing options are typically priced at half of a comparable option in Coronado! Our client, a not for profit, has two apartments available for long term tenants in the $300 p.m. range. This price includes: -10 local cable channels which feature US programming as well. -Water, Sewer and Garbage fees. The tenant can secure cable internet for $17 p.m. or they can get a package deal with internet service, telephone service and 28 channels of cable for less than $50 p.m. In addition electricity for me is about $10 bucks a month. I don´t use A/C because the apartments are on the 4th floor of a building facing the ocean, and the ocean breeze cools by day and can really chill by night! A/C could run you up to $50 p.m. I don´t have a car and work from home so all in all excluding housing cost my monthly outlay is about $100! NO THAT IS NOT A TYPO! Of course I shop at Super 99, Toda a Dollar and places like that for certain items. There is a certain secret to getting by down here like this that the locals will not share with an expat so readily. But rest assured a full time renter can do it $500 bucks per month easily!
