Comment #110/15/09 14:34Vancouver, BC, or Seattle, WA |  I am going to Panama in hopping to stay. We are two, my son nearly 16 and I, 45 years old. I saw on the internet some info that display some of required documents necessary for immigration. Sometimes info on the internet is old. I would like to now the list of the important documents that I should bring with me in order to avoid to do extra traveling. I got passeport and visit visas are in process at the embassy in Ottawa, Canada. I got a criminal record check for me (no finger prints, do they required finger prints if I don't have any criminal record?), I will bring certificate of education from me and my son, document of custody of my son, an international driver's license. What else should I get and which documents needs to be certified by a lawyer or notary. Do I need to get those translated in Spanish or the translation can be done in Panama from a Panamanian. What else should I know. I don't want to apply for immigration now, I need to go there first to see if I can open a business and being eligible for staying there with the saving that I have. Any updated website or info you could direct or provide me? Thank you very much. |
