English schools

Thank author of this post/commentAre there any high schools in Panama that provide education in English as a first language? I am looking particularly at junior high school levels and need to know if it is possible to integrate easily into the educational system. Language is going to be an problem initially so am looking for English speaking education at this point.

Thank author of this post/commentCrossroads Christian Academy has 22% of its student population made up of U.S. citizens. You could also try The International School of Panama, but I had problems getting the page to load. Talk to your travel agent or the embassy.

Thank author of this post/commentIt looks like that school pretty much follows the same calendar year as here in the states. Is it like that for most of the schools there as well? Do they follow the same calendar?

Thank author of this post/commentI found the web site on Balboa Academy in Balboa. It is a private school, looks like it is the same as the private schools in the states. Anyone know if it is English?

I would try what someone has called the International School of Panama. English is not my first language so I could say that it is pretty easy to learn. Besides, looks like you have some basic knowledge on the same. It seems that what you are looking for is an English teaching job...that at least is my guess. If I am right, how about you thought of offering private study. But as someone has indicated, your best chance lies in the embassy/travel agent...all the best.

I have to agree that English is kinda much easier to learn than the other languages, it is a language used and spoken everywhere. And there are lots of schools around the globe that offers instructions on how to use this language.

Career on teaching this language is increasing. Actually you can now teach english online and get payed in just the comfort of your home.

Searching for the right career is easy with the modern tech.

Hello!I work as an English teacher, and have to admit that you are totally right while saying that it's a very profitable job. You can easily get a good salary and there are plenty of opportunities for you to develop your teaching skills in different places all over the world. I've just started teaching in China-it's a fantastic adventure! I can highly recommend it when you finish studying:)

I think it doesn't matter on where you came from as long as you have all the necessary qualifications then you can acquire any position. If you are being bothered because you came from a foreign land maybe it is time for you to set aside those fears since every nation nowadays are open to foreign people no matter where they are from. So bother no more and who knows what lies for you in Panama.

Thank author of this post/comment"school year"

The school year actually begins in March and ends early to mid December. So transitioning is tough. Get all your grades from the USA stamped by the Consulate BEFORE coming. The trick is to not have your kid have to go back a year.

Yeah, it is true, all you have to do is to inquire about the matter on the respective buddy and you are on your way to enrolling your kids on those schools on foreign country you are to relocate. What bothers me is the way they teach the children in Panama. How is the education system there compared to some other countries? Have a good day guys and keep posting here.
