| More visitors for Panama  For the past few years Panama has been trying to enter the tourism market strongly and with a competitive offer. The ATP, Panamas Tourism Authority has this year come up with an aggressive strategy to make Panama one of the top destinations for tourists through marketing campaigns such as Panama 25% off, in London a number of taxi cabs are painted with ads for visiting Panama, Panamanian consuls are now also tourism ambassadors for Panama and some embassies even have a ?tourism attache?. There is a 24/7 international tourism contact center being put in place to provide information on Panama and assistance to tourists who may run into trouble in Panama, new airports are being built and the main airport is undergoing constant renovation to better handle the flow of passengers.

| "The Next Snobby Resort?"
This is all really great news. It will provide jobs and tax income for Panamanians and the country and it will work toward developing many services. However I really hope that as services advances big hotel chains don't see this as a chance to swoop in and plant exclusive over-priced resorts for the wealthy people to holiday in. I hope Panama can hold on to its laid back and friendly atmosphere and that prices will stay somewhat reasonable so a range of different people and nationalities can enjoy its beauty |
| Progression in society ? . I love to see positive progression in any society, and this is certainly an example of that. I am sure that the Panamanians will cherish and protect their beautiful natural heritage and prevent it from exploitation. I would certainly hope that this would be the case. |
| I think that there are really lots of beautiful spots in the country of Panama that are worth visiting. I love this country very much and having a vacation in one of the best destinations in there would be a lot of fun. I think those renovations would be an addition to the increase in the visitors of the country. Surely, tourism in the country would further flourish. Good day. |
| It looks like there is a great improvement in the field of Panama tourism. I am so happy for this, because I know for a fact that there are a lot of foreign people love to visit and see good historical spots in Panama. Well, through the evolution of high technology, I know that they will be renovating some parts of Panama. But, I hope they can still preserve the historical aspect of this construction. |
