| A few questions I will be moving to Puerto very soon and have a few questions that someone living there might be able to answer. How is the local city water? I have in most cases avoided drinking any water south of the Mexican border as I realize that most of it can be contaminated at any time of the year but if someone has had an experiance good or bad with the local city water in Puerto I would like to hear about it if possible. I do realize that it is going to be considerably warmer there than Boquete but have survived 114F degree weather in North Africa several years ago with no real problem. |
| Well i lived there for 14 years.., the water is not bad, but after i moved to another city between david and the border..just in the middle of everything .. i prefer the water here.. and the weather.. puerto is great because of the ocean and that stuff.. but there is not much to do there.. but anyhow..for a good peaceful life.. its ok... |
| So, how good is Chiriqui for those who are looking for a great place to have a vacation. What are the best places to be in there I am interested in learning more about this matter since we are going for a vacation. Hope you can all share here some good details regarding this matter. Thanks a lot and have a great day ahead, I will be waiting for all of your posts here. |
| "Chiriqui"
Well let me start by saying that Chiriqui Highlands is our favorite place to go. Lots of trees, birds, things to do. If I were you, I would do my reseach in staying in Boquete. Great hotels, food and people. Not to mention great coffee. If you fly into Pananma City you can rent a car and drive up the PanAmerican Highway (nice trip.) Or fly into PC take cab over to Albrook Airport and fly to David. It's a 50 minute flight. If you go on line and google Boquete or the Chiriqui Highlands you will find a lot of info. Also type places to stay in Boquete. When are you planning your trip? If I had more time today, I would go into a little more detail, but I'm pressed for time. I will check back in a few days. Good Luck..... |
